Gold is wonderful because it keeps the fiat money men attentive to what they do. But it is useless since the fiat money men can not make gold (yet), they must be mindful of gold as store of value. Today we know the “we can print our way out of this” crowd is calling for more paper. But the world knows that paper is no store of value, to the contrary, it is the illusion of value.

Metal gold pans seem to be a thing of the past now… A shame, since they had more than one purpose. Old timers used to cook their meals in them! Also, they didn’t tend to float down the river if you dropped it by accident. Metal pans like to sink! It seems the new fangled plastic pans are taking over but its not so bad. They have some awesome features that make them better than their metal predecessors. Plastic gold pans have bigger and sharper riffles as well as new shapes that were never possible with metal.
