It’s evident that no-one knows the next move for spot gold, and if one is in the market then it has to be on a tight stop such that if one’s chosen trend direction doesn’t work, then profits can be saved and losses minimized. Common sense, but so many find it hard.
With that said, when considering the long term outlook for spot gold: If the US is looking at trillion dollar deficits as far as the eye can see and unfunded liabilities that probably exceed 60 trillion– where else can gold go but up– at least in nominal terms.
